Everything You Need to Know
Why use Kwik Clip Holiday Light Hangers?
- Kwik Clips will not damage your house like staples or nails do. They are made from durable plastic which slides onto the fascia board without damaging the paint or making unsightly nail holes.
- Kwik Clips are a fascia board clip as opposed to a shingle clip or gutter clip. (The fascia board is the board in front of the rafters under the roof line.)
- The fascia board is usually a ¾″ thick board (called “1-by”) or a 1½″ thick board (called “2-by”) allowing you to hang multiple strands together and conceal the wiring.
- Kwik Clips allow you to hang your lights under the eaves so they will not be affected by wind, snow, rain, or ice.
- Kwik Clips are easy to install, easier to remove, and can be re-used year after year.
Kwik Clip works with these popular lights:
- C-7 and C-9 Christmas light strands
- Mini-lights
- Icicle lights
- Rope lights
Other ideas for Kwik Clip:
- Works great on fencing, decking, boat docks, or patio covers
- Perfect for backyard parties and wedding decorations
- Brighten your deck with rope lights using Kwik Clips
- White C-7 lights make beautiful wedding backdrops
Hanging Guidelines & Options
Kwik Clip can secure lights in 1 of 2 ways:
1) Using the Center Groove: Feed light wire through the inside groove and firmly push the Kwik Clip over the fascia board.
2) Using the Outer Hook: Firmly push the Kwik Clip over the board first, then hang your light wire in the hook. Hook can face toward or away from your home.
Spacing: Determined by your preference. Suggested spacing is 12–24 inches between each clip. For every 25 feet of lights, 18–24 Kwik Clips are recommended. Each pack contains 32 clips — order plenty and stock up!
